Somewhere sixteen degrees south of the equator lies a fantasy land of reef breaks forgotten by the world. Traveling to this part of the world is no easy task, and scoring good surf on top of it either takes luck, or an encyclopedia's worth of swell and wind direction knowledge. Most of the spots have a swell window no wider than the tip a ball point pen. Needless to say, if you do manage to get yourself in the right place at the right time, the conditions can be described as nothing less than epic.

Creek Break Action

Creek breaks are fun when the surf is flat, provided you have a creek that needs draining, and you don't have any doo doo phobias either. The creek at aliso can produce some monster man eating standing waves and the occasional case of hepatitus A through Z. Before the real carnage starts, the first few standing waves that form are perfect, miniature, peeling marvels that pop up and reel off for a few seconds, then dissapear just as fast as they came.
