Sixteen Degrees South

Sixteen Degrees South

by: Levin

Somewhere sixteen degrees south of the equator lies a fantasy land of reef breaks forgotten by the world. Traveling to this part of the world is no easy task, and scoring good surf on top of it either takes luck, or an encyclopedia's worth of swell and wind direction knowledge. Most of the spots have a swell window no wider than the tip a ball point pen. Needless to say, if you do manage to get yourself in the right place at the right time, the conditions can be described as nothing less than epic.

Creek Break Action

Creek Break Action

by: Levin

Creek breaks are fun when the surf is flat, provided you have a creek that needs draining, and you don't have any doo doo phobias either. The creek at aliso can produce some monster man eating standing waves and the occasional case of hepatitus A through Z. Before the real carnage starts, the first few standing waves that form are perfect, miniature, peeling marvels that pop up and reel off for a few seconds, then dissapear just as fast as they came.

Skimboard Tow In\'s At Aliso

Skimboard Tow In's At Ali…

During one of the biggest South Swells in years Paulo Prietto decided to take out the Exile waverunner and have some fun in the big closed out Aliso beach break. Nothing epic, but it was definitely a good time. Except for the paddles out. Those were not good times. This was Steve Taylor's first time driving the ski and he didn't do too bad a job. He dressed colorfully so any rescue teams would be able to find him should things have gone the wrong way. Source: Exileskimboards.com

Solagian Ghetto Ramp
by: Levin

If a hobbit does a skateboard trick in the forest,
and no one is there to hear it... does it make a
sound?
Deep within the shire known as SoLag resides a miniramp known only to a select few... the powers of Geo the sun god keep it hidden from prying eyes so that the leaf crew may enjoy its splendor in solutide between journeys to the beach.

Which reminds me... the other day I was cruising to Sonic Burger for a Cherry Lime slush, when I noticed this little guy walking down the street. I motioned for him to come over, but he just scoweld at me. Then I was like what's the deal, man? He scoweld some more. Finally I went over a bit closer, and he produced a set of numbchucks from his back pocket and started doing this ninja thing coming right at me. Me being the quick thinker that I am, I grabbed an old woman and threw her in front of me to take blow from the numchucks. At the same time I side stepped to the left... well, it was more like a crow hop, but whatever. Safely out of the way I grabbed a tooth brush out of my own pocket and went after the guys neck.
